Our family has been a guardian family for 2 Big Rock females, Etta and Chickadee. We love our girls so much. In the beginning, even though we had all the details provided to us, we werenโt totally sure what the Big Rock Guardian Program would look like for us. We quickly realized that it was a fairly easy program, with a few easy requirements, to follow. From day one, we knew that Etta was our forever family pet. After having Etta for a year, we took Chickadee into our family until a guardian home was found for herโฆ..she ended up staying with us as our second forever pet from Big Rock. Two years later and both of our breeding girls have had their litters of adorable pups and they are officially retired.
At no point in the process did we feel like Etta and Chickadee were anything but our dogs. Their stays at Big Rock for whelping and raising their pups went by very quickly and Alana and Brent welcomed visits from us to see mom and pups at any time. They were loved and cared for as if they were their own whenever they visited the Big Rock facility.
We are really happy that we chose to take part in Big Rock Labradoodles guardian program. We have 2 amazing dogs that we are so thankful for and we have also gained friends in Alana and Brent.
If you are considering being a guardian family and having a lifelong companion of a Big Rock Labradoodle, we encourage you to jump in with both feet. You will not regret having such a wonderful family pet!
